#What is the process from a scholarship request to the study and graduation?

Step 1 : Apply for a scholarship : Once you apply for a scholarship, we will review your application, including all the provided documents. If we have any questions or need further clarification, we will contact you. You can expect our first response within a maximum of one week. If you do not hear from us within one week, feel free to reach out directly.

Step 2: Interview:  Once your application is complete, we will invite you to an interview. This interview offers an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their motivation, commitment, financial needs, and alignment with the scholarship's values beyond their written application. It allows the selection committee to better understand your personal and professional goals, as well as your potential to contribute to both academic and extracurricular activities.

Step 3: Check and validate eligibility for scholarship:  The eligibility check involves a thorough evaluation of all the information provided in your application, as well as insights gathered during the interview. Each candidate is assessed based on academic qualifications, financial need, motivation, and alignment with the scholarship’s values and criteria. This step ensures that the provided information is accurate and comprehensive. Candidates are then compared to identify the most qualified and suitable individuals. Only those who meet all criteria and stand out as the strongest applicants will move forward in the selection process.

Step 4: Precheck admission at the university :  For eligible students, based on the available information, we perform a precheck for university admission. This step does not replace the final admission process by the university. It is just a preliminary, non-binding precheck. The final decision regarding admission is made solely by the university.

Step 5: Collect the contributions: The scholarship is not covering 100% of the study costs but 85%. That means 15% of the costs still needs to be provided via contributions. For collecting the contribution , we support you and put in place a fund raising process. After that you can share it via all channels and social media in order to invite people (Friends, Family, Communities,...) to contribute. Whenever applicable, we also contribute and help sharing the profiles with our partners and audience all around the world. In order to ensure a full transparency, all the money transactions are done via bank accounts located in Germany!.

Step 6: Request scholarship and forward tuition fees to university: Once contributions are collected, the scholarship request is submitted in collaboration with our partner organization SAA. Once the scholarship is granted, the full tuition fees will be forwarded to IU. At this point, the financial requirements for your studies will be fulfilled..

Step 7: Register at the international university and begin studies : At this stage, the student registers at the university. The registration process follows the standard procedures for all German universities. The final decision for admission is made solely by the university. We provide support and guidance throughout the entire process.

Step 8: (Optional) Alignments with practice partner: If the student desires a dual study program, alignments with a practice partner are made based on the desired level of practical involvement. These alignments define how the practical training will be organized. The practice partner can be a local or international company.

Step 9: Continuous supervision, guidance and coordination: Throughout the studies, the student will receive additional supervision and guidance to ensure a smooth experience and successful completion of the program. The student will also participate in various activities, such as workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions, both online and on-site, with other students and members.

Step 10: Graduation and direct access to the worldwide job market: After graduation, the student will have direct access to the job market worldwide. If the student has secured guaranteed employment with a local or international company during their studies, they can transition smoothly into the workforce without any interruptions.
